This means that in order to change the reality you are experiencing now, whether that be chronic illness or trauma issues or emotional/mental challenges, you have to move your thinking and awareness to a higher level of function. If you get sick in a state of prolonged stress, you need to get yourself out of the state of stress to change your situation. This requires an expansion of consciousness, or a new level of awareness, resulting in new perspectives on your life. And this expansion of consciousness creates a different vibrational frequency also known as your electromagnetic signature. Another way to say this is that you have to shift your vibrational frequency to be able to resolve and dissolve the problems from the old vibrational reality. That is why I call my brain practice a “dimensional shift” technique, because our vibration and consciousness literally shifts into another dimension of awareness as we do the visualization practice to perceive our reality differently.

What “channel” is your brain antenna set to?

Yes, our brain is like a radio antenna, preset to listen to certain channels, or vibrational frequencies which you would call “your thoughts”. And the good news is that if your brain has been receiving thoughts (which are not yours by the way) that are fear based and result in low vibrational emotional states, you can change the station you are listening to! This is why we do brain rewiring in a nutshell. To shift your brain’s antenna to receive and transmit messages of love, joy, hope and trust so that you experience more wellbeing and alignment to who you really are. I often call this changing of channels “shifting your brain state”.

Shifting our brain state, through directing our conscious awareness to a new, higher vibrational frequency may be the most powerful thing we can do for our health. This can be more powerful than any supplement or treatment because our entire energy field shifts when our brain is attuned to the “radio thought stations” of love vs fear. And the truth is, as much as I talk about the brain, this shift happens through our heart. Actually we teach the brain to listen to the heart in my brain retraining program Creating Calm.

Our heart is the most powerful emitter of energy in the body and is a “brain” in its own way. Yes, the human heart, in addition to its other functions, actually possesses a heart-brain composed of about 40,000 neurons that can sense, feel, learn and remember. The heart-brain sends messages to the head brain about how the body feels. Until the 1990s, scientists assumed and most of us were taught that it was only the brain that sent information and issued commands to the heart, but now we know that it works both ways. In fact, the heart’s complex intrinsic nervous system, the heart brain, is an intricate network of several types of neurons, neurotransmitters, proteins and support cells, like those found in the brain. Research shows that the heart communicates to the brain in several major ways and acts independently of the cranial brain. For this reason I often suggest my clients learn and practice heart based coherence techniques as well as brain retraining. My favorite source for these practices are the ,HeartMath techniques.

The heart is where our Sovereignty and True Self presence can be remembered. The heart is where the greatest healing awaits. And yet the heart is often where the most protection against being our unconditional loving self is found. The journey home, into our heart center is ultimately where we want to go. Our limbic system is the main brain structure keeping us from experiencing this True Divine Self. This is why I believe that nervous system regulation practices are a key component to the awakening and ascension process. As we establish the ability to consciously choose our thoughts and consciously self-generate our emotions, we have the necessary tools to take a deep dive into the heart.
